iStock One‑Minute Films: Resiliency
Application is easy ‑ Apply today with a storyboard and a few basic details so we can get to know you!
Resources—financial and otherwise—are at a premium, and creatives worldwide have been challenged to create while faced with unprecedented challenges, not to mention constraints related to COVID‑19, quarantine realities and social distancing requirements. And yet, the challenge to create content which is all at once moving, ground‑breaking and inspiring, remains—the challenge to tap into one’s power of creative resiliency and create for the benefit of others.

This is the driver behind the iStock Creative Bursary, One‑Minute Films: Resiliency, open to all emerging and aspiring filmmakers (including students and those who are honing their practice independently) around the globe. iStock challenges you to use your creative powers to dream up a one‑minute film—emphasizing the concept of Creative Resiliency, as you choose to interpret it—using the iStock film library for a chance to win a grant towards your education and expertise. In order to apply, submit a storyboard and some details about you as a creative. From there, we will select 10 semi‑finalists to receive a one‑year iStock Premium Access subscription valued at $1,000 and a guaranteed prize of $1,000. First place will receive $7,000 USD and Second place will receive $5,000 USD and eight runners up will receive $1,000 USD each.

For over 25 years, our mission at Getty Images and iStock has been to move the world with imagery—and that includes video, as well. Since the inception of the Getty Images Grants program in 2004, we have donated over $1.7 million to photojournalists and creatives worldwide, furthering our commitment to the craft of photography and bringing attention to important stories that without funding, may otherwise remain unseen.
